Who are we chasing this trade period?(2015)

Post: # 1583956Post RavsterII »

We are looking to be very active this trade period, whether it be picks or players.
here are some of the players that we are interested in,possible interest or possible players that we could trade to get the deal done.

interest:
1.Jake Carlisle
2.Nathan Freeman
3.Nathan Hrovat (Contracted)'
4.Aaron Young (Contracted)

Possibilities:
1.Paul seedsman??
2.Craig Bird

Possible saints that could be traded:
1.Farren Ray
2.cameron Shenton

What do you think about these possible trades and is their anyone else that are possibly in our sights?

And what are the possible trades that could occur?

There was a lot of talk early this afternoon about Jed Anderson from Hawthorn. Yesterday all the talk was about Aaron Young from Port, being in a three way trade with Melbourne. Whats happened to those two.

We need to get Aaron Young from Port Adelaide.
That way will have one a product of the 2010 draft.
At present we have no-one from the main draft, pre season draft or rookie drafts at the end of 2010.

No-one from the main draft, pre season draft or rookie drafts at the end of 2009 either.
Only Farren Ray from the drafts at the end of 2008.
But even that is not honest - we traded pick 31 for Ray plus pick 48.
We have no-one from the actual drafts.

Who was in charge of recruitment for those three draft seasons.
I hope he was paid in peanuts.

It was John Peake. He Came to us from Geelong, where his track record was, apparently quite good. Last I heard he was back there. The main reason we had to go into a total rebuild of the list was the drafting in those years, ace. Great post, because it reinforces the old saying, "You can't pull your socks up if you haven't got any on."

I've heard that too, BM, and from a usually reliable source. I wouldn't be surprised if either of those two are used as part of the Carlisle deal, if it goes ahead. Here's a "Sophie's Choice" for fellow forumites. If you had to, which one would you choose to trade?

Ross, but either, I don't care, depends on what the outcome is.

I'd trade Sophie.
