Pretty retarded that when you have billion dollar TV deals they can't even stipulate an HD GF broadcast.

dont think the AFL have any say over the broadcast quality of the VFL - and I would bet the house that the ch7 TV was broadcast at streaming quality SD - from bprmedia

anyway you were lucky to have it at all - up in here in sunny QLD - it was a no show - ch9 did however manage to show the Intrust cup (VFL type seconds comp of the NRL) oh and guess what - poor SD quality TV broadcast too

Good hard fought win by Sandy. Both Holmes and Pierce did buggar all unfortunately.

Those apparently marked for the axe (Siposs, Saad, Simpkin, Markworth) didn't set the world on fire. It was CJ and Mitch Brown along with a few other Sandy players that got us over the line.

Sandy play Box Hill Hawks next Saturday afternoon.

A bit of character shown by Sandy to pull that win out.

Big game by Saunders

Holmes worked hard n had few good moments.

Eli worked his way into the game n kicked a big goal. He'll be fine with time.

Curren had a good return

Sipposs was solid without being spectacular

Markworth didn't do much

Pierce was good, rucked well. Positions well... Just needs size

Saad was beaten but nailed his opportunities at the big moments

I liked Minch's game. Good finisher

Shentons disposal is not AFL standard. Won't make it. Ok game

Watched only the last quarter.

Murdoch has very strong hands.
Simpkin is tough as nails (no news there).
Minchington was good. Deserves another year.
Saad was okay, but too many ahead of him to justify his spot. A team short on small forwards wouldn't be crazy to draft him.
Holmes was poor.
McKenzie did some nice things and will certainly be a player.
Markworth, Eli, Sippos didn't do much.

Really noticed when Sipposs got the footy the penetration in his kicking broke the game up. His intensity has also risen.

6 goal to three third quarter looked alright. And if you watched any Zebs game this year they're strong finishers. Hardly worth writing off when a goal down with 30 minutes to go even kicking into the wind.

Collingwood certainly favourites at that stage but giving up and saying "game over" was over the top.

As I understand it all St Kilda players who are fit and healthy for selection are available. Acres broke a hand in last week's game for example.
