Bennell, Carlisle and Kelly would be a fantastic result
I stll cant work out why we don't also try and get Fyffe and Hogan as well. Why stop at Kelly, Bennell and Carlisle.

Bennell and Carlisle are up for trade. Certainly Carlisle has been offered a hefty contract by the Saints.
Bennell wont be a Saint in all probability but it is off season and until he lands at a club why cant people speculate.
Same with Kelly. It has been strongly rumoured that we are trying to prise Kelly out of GWS for months.
Only #5 plus would get anywhere near Kelly as he is contracted (plus something else).
Both Kelly and Bennell are remote, but why shut down talk about it.
It is the bloody silly season and we can speculate cant we?
There are people who think we can get all 3. If you even think that is a slight chance then fine. I have more hope of picking a sheila at my local club tonight than us getting all 3. And the only female that goes on a Thursday is the presidents wife.

So Buddy has been banging Tippett's Mrs and is now using mental illness to hide from the fallout? If this turns out true I'll be sold, as long as it is just unfounded innuendo and scuttlebutt I will live comfortably under the assumption that BS is just as his name suggests.
I don't think anybody on here has any serious information either... We did have a club official on here for a while though. Thought he was being sneaky but his Email address, join date and I.P. Location gave him away.

there are rumours about Jaeger O Meara still too. We could get Harley, Jaeger and Maverick over and put the bogan first name brigade back together.

Sadly I think you on the money with your comment about Bennell and Parish. Even if we manage to retain a top 10 draft pick ( by that I mean not traded away for a Carlisle) Parish will be well and truly gone by the time it's our pick.
Which brings me back to Bennell.
Are we chasing him? Damian Barrett says we are if his opinion, not to mention his Tom Pipers ( a very good source) can be trusted. A number of clubs have said they are not interested in Harley. The Saints have said not a word one way or the other publicly.
I wonder if the delisting of Markworth means he will become part of a deal to get either Bennell or Carlisle?
Somebody on this forum has suggested we are chasing Adam Tomlinson. Not sure how that is going to happen when he still has a year to run on his contract with the Giants.
