That's 7 picks in the draft so that isn't going to happen. Shenton signed 8 weeks ago so he is safe as would be Delaney I would think. And haven't the club said Ray will get another year?

Of course he will but he wont get it so he will stay with us. No idea why though apart from a very poor draft.

A big factor will be how many players that the club expects to pick up by trades etc.


Then add to that our draft picks, minus any picks lost by trading.

Hard to envisage any players being traded out, but the club has surprised us in recent years.

1. What happens if Siposs has 35 disposals, 10 tackles and 5 goals in the VFL grand final and is BOG?

2. It's pretty unfair to Sandy seeing as players could be off their game knowing that they aren't getting a new contract.

Probably because the club needs to make list management decisions re trades etc now, and not in a few weeks time.

It also gives the players the opportunity to show other clubs why they should be recruited.
