We are kidding ourselves if we think there is anything but honorable losers for another 10 years. The GWS and GC are going to dominate and they are propping the WA and Sydney teams. We will lose all our talent to the teams with some money under FA. Its s*** these day footy.

Our last 6 games have been (generally) poor, but that is because after a reasonably soft first 16 rounds, we started to play good sides, 3 of them interstate. I cannot believe we are still sixth from the bottom at the moment. I think that says more about Melbourne and Essendon than it does about us though.

They didn't have the option to rest players. If they lost tonight they faced the prospect of a trip to Melbourne or Sydney. So different circumstances to Freo.
