Re: Memorabilia
Hi all,
I just received a 140 Year Anniversary guernsey (brand new with tags) that I bought off eBay, but unfortunately the Small size I ordered isn't big enough...
I'd only be looking to get back what I paid, which is $40, plus postage if required (I'm in Hobart, but will be in Melbourne once, if not twice in the next month or so).
Please let me know if you are interested - I'm off to search for a Medium instead!
Cheers,
Sawf
I can't seem to resize the image of the jumper, but you can find it here:

Re: Memorabilia
I've got a 1966 Grand Final Record signed by the Doc. It's not for sale.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.
Re: Memorabilia

Re: Memorabilia
I have heaps. Collected over 70 years by my dad and I. But the greatest memory of all is receiving a lift home from Kosi and Roo after a practice match against Carlton in Country Vic. It was Benalla I think. Must have been preseason 2001. I know they would remember it. They were boys and me and my old dad blew a radiator. The stopped to help us cause I had both their numbers of my jumper. I can still smell Kosi's dusty old XD. Red dirt throughout. They were 2 impressive young men. If by chance you see this Roo. You promised me and dad a flag. Your gonna need to make that happen soon. Seriously though. Im not disappointed and its not over yet. Great memory.

Re: Memorabilia
Great stuff stuff CQ SAINT. Would have been a great experience.
For anyone interested I contacted the club about these tickets. The reply I got was "A patron member is someone who donated money in a bid to eliminate the clubs debt during the 80’s-90’s. Being a patron saint also gave members life membership to the social club."mambo2706 wrote:Can anyone please tell me what a Patron Saint membership is/was? Thanks heaps.

Re: Memorabilia
In case any of the long term members recognise my story from when it was posted here fresh nearly 15 years ago, yes, I have changed my name (landy22). Good to see so many members still here. Those were great days. There was a real buzz about the place. Ironically, i have been overseas and interstate since 2003 and in terms of geography and culture missed the best Saints era of my 45 years. Looking forward to another great era now and this time 3 flags in the bag.
