Which fringe player would you like?
What fringe player from another side would you like to be a Saint
Recently we picked up Savage, Roberton, Delany, Weller probably more.
I would like Atley from North Melbourne.
He is good by hand and foot and an absolute jet. Got dropped last week because he doesn't get enough of the ball (maybe a bit soft)
Also although he is no longer fringe I would also like Cripps from Carlton as he reminds me of Lenny Hayes

They are the obvious ones along with Mitchell and perhaps as some have said guys like Weller at Freo because Ross doesn't like kids. Maybe guys like Pickett and Whitfield before they get to be regulars every week.Old Mate wrote:Tom Clurey

I liked Stewart and Mc Carthy last year but they both look on their way to being guns now.

I'm thinking Hawthorns Jed Anderson could suit our needs nicely

But he wont be fringe for long.

Billy Hartung at Hawthorn would be nice.
There is a kid at Melbourne, I think his name is Petracca, I don't think he has had a look in.

McCarthy has played every game this year. And he has his hair tied back.
Definitely not a fringe player.

You're probably right, not sure if they'll play all of Patton, Cameron & McCarthy in the one side though.kosifantutti wrote:McCarthy has played every game this year. And he has his hair tied back.

Re: Which fringe player would you like?
Now that the season is nearly over I wanted to see others thought about this topic again.
I still think Jed Anderson could be an ideal steal.
The Hawthorn mids that are old don't play his position.
Smith, Hill and Hartung are the ones keeping him out.

Re: Which fringe player would you like?
Don't need fringe players because we've already got a surplus.
Need a couple of superstars.

I heard Carlton were thinking about trading out Menzel?
Is that for real? He's the best talent that Carlton have landed for many years surely?

Terlick Melb
Towers from Sydney
Clurey from Port
Plus any top rated player at GWS that's not getting a game.
Prerequisite is they have to be able to kick and get their own ball
