Begins a trend of American college stars coming over - none ever as good, but three later earn medals amongst st kilda's 17 premierships between now and 2050.
A must watch game!
Bit over the top. Can only see 16 flags between now and 2050.
That racist website AFL.com.au is referring to him as a Yank Tank.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Very impressive debut, if he was 21 we would be losing our minds with excitement but even at 25 we would take that, very handy back up for Longer and Hickey. Hope we take the same combo into the last couple games.
ROBERT HARVEY A.K.A The Great Man, Banger, Harves, Ol' Man River...

Richo said Longer might need surgery, if that's the case then I'd expect no change to tall forwards or rucks before the end of the season.

Would be awesome to see the human machines against each other at Subi - Nic Nat vs. Holmesy. A marketing dream!
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
if he can start tapping it to our mids like sandi does to fyfe look the F*** out
i really think if he improves around the ground he could be out number one ruck
just has to want it and bust his gut over the next couple of years
saw him in the QLD NAB game and was impressed then - So Im glad he got a chance to play and grab it with both hands and tap it down nicely to his mids...

I believe Holmes has one more year but is he still a rookie ? I assume so.
Should we elevate him to the main list? A bit pointless to have him next year if he can't play.
Its our call what we do with him. Sinclair will obviously go up and I nearly spat out my lunch when I read Hudson saying Saad could go onto the main list next season.
I was very happy to see Jason have such a good first game.
Jason's leap, tap-work and energy definately helped to energise our Saints on Saturday night. After the two years of training with the Sherrin I think he is bringing plenty of positivity to our team.

Yes, I was thinking of you when I read that Pluggs! I think Huddo might be pumping Ahmed's tyres to keep him at Sandy after he is delisted. Unfortunately for him, we have no place in our game for one-dimensional small forwards. One-dimensional, 203cm ruckmen that slam the ball down the throats of our midfield is another thing!

Agree -- we need to loose about 6 blokes and I for 1 would like to give Markworh, siposs and White 1 more last chance year - makes it hard to find 6 for the list

The guys on 3AW after the game have already picked him and told him he was playing and told his dad that he had to fly out asap so as not to miss the match - so you can lock him in !!!
