Lewis Jetta
Richardson spoke of the possibility of us bringing in Jetta. I didn't hear the interview so it would be interesting to know if Richo was just responding to a question or actually offered up the information willingly.
Anyway, Jetta certainly wasn't on my radar but he is a top notch speedster and, as Richo said, would complement our team very well. He is not quite as young as I expected the trade targets to be (26) but that would give a least 5 years of output.
Thoughts?

More a long the line of an answer to list requirements.............Richardson indicated we need outside run

Re: Lewis Jetta
Lewis Jetta coming to the Saints? I don't think so or hope not. Wouldn't be of much use to a bottom rung team. Doesn't work hard enough.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Re: Lewis Jetta
reading between the lines I think we are being talked up to be interested in all these players to keep us relevant during this last month before the finals start... realistically we are going to be hard pressed to win another gameso we need to keep the momentum growing to build some hype and hope heading into next season ... I reckon we are not a realistic chance for Jetta or Carslie but is fun to be "in the mix"

I thought something similar. We want our real targets to believe that St Kilda is an attractive home and is the potential home to more stars. Perception is reality. Collingwood have created this image perfectly.st_Trav_ofWA wrote:reading between the lines I think we are being talked up to be interested in all these players to keep us relevant during this last month before the finals start... realistically we are going to be hard pressed to win another gameso we need to keep the momentum growing to build some hype and hope heading into next season ... Re: Lewis Jetta
Jetta when he is good is sensational.
But I don't like his attitude.
He is a front runner.
When things get tough he goes missing.
He has a lot of low possession games (but not a Cyril low possession match winner) - rather low possession/low influence games.
I'd sooner have someone with less natural skill and pace who you can rely on for a four quarter effort each week.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

And he is 27 early next season. I thought Richo said there would be no FA this season.
