In an interesting little piece of trivia. In Round 2 2001, 2 rather unlikely players lined up in defence for the Saints.
One played Full Back, the other centre half back. One was a successful defender for a while, the other one wasn't.
Thinking in terms of their recent roles. Who were these 2 defenders on the day.

That's correct. Barry Hall played full back
Fraser Gehrig played centre half back.
Your go.

I'm new in the thread so I don't know what has and hasn't been asked, but here goes...
What number was on Danny Frawley's back in 1987?

The Saints won a 1 point thriller at Moorabbin....
Saints......17.15:117
Fitzroy.....18.8:116
Who was the player that kicked a 55 metre torpedo on the run in the dying minutes of the game to put the Saints in front?

No mate...
Davenport came off the bench in the last quarter and kicked 4, but it's not him either...

You wouldn't rely on anyone to kick a 55 metre torpedo on the run to win a game except for Stewart Loewe.
Gotta love the Blake!

In round 1 2001, six players made their debut for the Saints against the Bulldogs.
Who were they and which pair combined for a goal in the opening minute?

Aaron Hamill
Brett Voss
Matthew Capuano
Craig Callaghan
Mark Gale
Robert Powell
Voss and Capuano I think combined for that goal.

In 2001, which crumbing forward kicked 7 goals in the first 3 rounds including 4 against the Eagles in Round 3. He then got injured and this probably led to Milney being promoted off the rookie list in Round 4??

Yep you got it saint66.
Interesting to note Bill Young won his by kicking only 56 goals in 1956
All others bar Fraser this year kicked in excess of 100.
