Re: Tom Lee injury?
Ankle. He injured his ankle earlier in the season playing VFL and has been managing it all year.
Don't dwell on the past.
Look to the future.

After some Twitter backlash it seems poor Tom Morris had to whip together a quick article well after hours.kosifantutti wrote:When a guy who wasn't on the injury list at all suddenly goes on the LTI list, you'd think there would be some communication from the club.
Ankle injury.

Clinton Jones was the most recent #4.Toy Saint wrote: Personally, I don't see Templeton reaching the highest level, and I've even been critical of the club for giving him the prized #4 jumper. Quite frankly, I hope I'm wrong, and I'll bet P66 would be delighted in Lee kicked 100 goals next year.

Re: Tom Lee injury?
Well.......my first footy jumper had Darrel Baldock's #4......to be honest I wasn't too pleased when they gave his number to Barry Breen....but I was happy again when Lockett got the number....dissapointed again when Clint got it....and even more so when they gave it to Templeton.FQF wrote:Clinton Jones was the most recent #4.Toy Saint wrote: Personally, I don't see Templeton reaching the highest level, and I've even been critical of the club for giving him the prized #4 jumper. So does that mean romance is a sport to you?Toy Saint wrote:Well.......my first footy jumper had Darrel Baldock's #4......to be honest I wasn't too pleased when they gave his number to Barry Breen....but I was happy again when Lockett got the number....dissapointed again when Clint got it....and even more so when they gave it to Templeton.FQF wrote:Clinton Jones was the most recent #4.Toy Saint wrote: Personally, I don't see Templeton reaching the highest level, and I've even been critical of the club for giving him the prized #4 jumper. He was gonna win the flag with Sandy.
"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....
Re: Tom Lee injury?
Certainly indicates that he'll be on the list next year and wants to be ready for pre-season.bigred wrote:He was gonna win the flag with Sandy.

He was always a chance to be a major bust. He was never AFL standard in my opinion. Sad for him though. No surgery is fun.Bunk_Moreland wrote:Lee is turning out to be a major bust

Well, look at Roberton after his ankle surgery. One of our better players this year.Choppa wrote:Playing well with an injury has to indicate something positive surely.

All players are a chance to be a major bust. Lee was highly rated by a number of clubs and it seems injury has been his major hurdle.

Re: Tom Lee injury?
Agree, the timing of his surgery all but confirms that he's safe. Or put another way, for Tom to miss out on the chance of winning a VFL flag in order to be ready for preseason only to be delisted would be very cruel.st_Trav_ofWA wrote:unless traded I would say Lee will be on our list next year ....... we wont delist him

Re: Tom Lee injury?
Feel sorry for him and am bummed for Sandy too... they're looking really good and by all accounts he was a big part of that
I wonder if this explains his non-selection in the seniors

Re: Tom Lee injury?
Tom will get through this and be all the better for it.
He was brilliant for Sandy on Sunday and his elite kicking had a major impact on the win.
Sandy will miss him greatly in the finals!
