Hickey gets a free just outside the 50 and then the umpire calls play on. WTF?

internet sped up just in time to see Bruce's goal. From there all i saw was a dominant saints! all good - nice goal by Paddy too. Nice to see us fight on with three players injured so early. Gee - IF we'd kicked like Freo, and IF they'd kicked like us, and IF the umps actually knew the game, we'd have won that! :)

Freo were very very clean, and clearly too good... but 21 scoring shots to 19 is not a thrashing.. we had a lot of the ball, a lot of inside 50s
Clearly nowhere near as clean with possession and were outclassed, but were not embarrassed.. particualrly with a small bench
for most of the game
Yeah they really were a 10 goal better team today.
Credit to us some of the boys played the game out until the end.
Some telling injuries disrupted our plan.
Most players were beaten in their positions.
Wayward goalkicking hurt us early also.
Acres, Goddard, Sinclair showed some good signs i thought.

Dockers players allowed so long in the tackle which allows them to eventually dispose of the ball.

If we all chip in and get you a faster internet connection, that should solve all of our problems. Maybe the boys were playing at your internet speed, waiting for you to catch up!

We lost to a bigger stronger team. We did it to others during 09 and 10. Good effort by the boys and they played until the final siren.

Inside 50s 45-44 our way.
Remember Freo have a LOT to play for right now.Home final (x2), Week off etc.

I am pretty bloody pleased with our efforts. If we can finish with a % above 80 we can feel pretty ok.
Considering everyone tipped us for the spoon. Carlton and the Lions with % in the 60s are a long long way behind us and Essendon are dropping like a rock.
Things look pretty good.
