Re: Mitch Brown?
says on an article on the saints page today that we showed interest in him along with essendon and fremantle to alow him to be selected for the draft combine.
the question i have rather than saying we should get him is can he come straight onto our list because he is only a year or so out of an afl list ie that cricket guy ppl are talking about ?

The cricket guy hasn't played any footy for 5 years, if not longer. Brown must be drafted like any other aussie rules player. There is now a very good reason we need to finish above Essendon.

If we finish above them hopefully they will pick him first.
Re: Mitch Brown?
Think not to drafting brown.
The cricket guy is Alex Keath.
The 196 centimetre Keath would be able to sign easily with the club of his choice given he has not been registered with a football club for more than three years.
He could therefore be signed as a category B rookie outside the draft with clubs able to pay him outside the salary cap until he made the senior team.
While some recruiters believe the 23-year-old has spent too much time away from football to successfully return to AFL, and are concerned by the knee problems he endured early in his time at Victoria, others believe he has enough talent to overcome that.

Bains is a Melbourne Grammar boy as well, maybe that will help us have a chat to Keath?

Could be for the best. We'd be able to take Jones in that case. Apparently he's been tearing it up in the VFL this yearplugger66 wrote:jimmy_slats wrote:how dose that mean we need to finish above essendon ? not a crack just asking

Yep he is a KP VFL player but he isn't in the AFL. Anyway we have 2 KP VFL players on our list at the moment. Need another like a hole in the head.

I want him so much just to s*** you Plugster. I hope we delist some young kid with huge potential to fit him in as well and trade our first pick for Schultz.plugger66 wrote:gringo wrote:Its a bit easier to get mids than KPs though.remboy wrote:Could be for the best. Sadly I think that is true. I want good players under the age of 24 or great players 26 and over, not guys who have had 6 years in the system and have hardly played.

Re: Mitch Brown?
Must consider for 2016
Brown would be fantastic for our developing defence.........but not at a high cost.
