Years yet.
We need to rest Riewoldt every time he gets the slightest niggle.

Re: Saints vs Power match day thread
Possessions now -70 by Saints tackles -15 (46 being only marginally better than Carlton against the Hawks), Clearances -10, Contested possession -19. All these were close at half time.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

Is Templet on really up to it. Young so has time but not what he has that is special.
Re: Saints vs Power match day thread
Well at least this game should put an end to the Hickey v longer debate.
It won't, and Hick will be dropped at the next opportunity, but he is miles better than longer. Has that rare ability to actually get the ball.

Needs the dreads back. He is like Samson. Just looks way off it. Not sure why we are playing him ahead of Acres or Minch.Pwoit wrote:He lost his dreads, that was specialplugger66 wrote:Is Templet on really up to it. Young so has time but not what he has that is special.

Re: Saints vs Power match day thread
Neither have a massive effect on the game. Longer does provide good inside pressure at times. Both ruckmen don't take enough marks or kick goals. Longer isn't too bad of a tap ruckman but gets muscled out at times.Sobraz wrote:Well at least this game should put an end to the Hickey v longer debate.

Hickey seems to have loose hands. Not a strong first grab, make be alright at ground level but not effective with his disposals.
I still think one ruckman at this stage unless one learns to kick goals or becomes more damaging around the ground. Currently were not there.
