Round 17 - comedy festival nominations

Post: # 1567380Post Enrico_Misso »

- The Caaaaarlton witches hats
- The Benny Hill Tigers for finding yet another way to lose
- The Doper fans for booing Ryder on the basis that he was disloyal to THEM and then having to cop him kicking four match winning goals
- Adam Goodes and his apologists for thinking the booing against just this one individual is racist
- Wayne Carey for suggesting Sam Mitchell wouldn’t get a game at any other club (pretty sure the Demons could squeeze him in)
- The “chemistry” between Watts and Dawes that invoked memories of the Krakouer brothers
- Jake Niall, The Age commentator who wrote an opinion piece on Saturday that Melbourne had a vastly superior list to StKilda
- The over officiating umpires.
Thought the umpiring was bad enough at the Essendope/Port game with all those inexplicable stoppage frees.
But the Melb/StK game was atrociously umpired and I have to admit most of the “mystery” frees went our way which was a nice change.
Some of the MCC members were getting quite vocal and close to their medical thresholds.
Cries of “Strike me down it’s another free against number 11”, and “Worst umpiring since Ivor Warne-Smith was crucified in 27 at the Motordrome”.
Though Riewoldt who got nothing must have smiled ruefully at the “holding” gift to Hogan in the goalsquare.

...
And the winner is Robert Allenby’s caddie who walked out mid round after Allenby blamed his cr@p golf on him and called him a fat #@#$.
The “kidnapper” is still at large!

Apparently Allenby has had > 30 caddies in his career.
I always said he was a tool.

Paddy's attempted snap from the goalsquare would get a gig.

I deadset thought I was reading a post on Big footy when reading Jake Niall's article... I know it was an opinion piece but fair dinkum the fact that somebody actually gets paid to pump out that utter jibberish that had no idea where it was going or why.. It wasn't that he thought the demons were ahead at this stage but I've never read such crap in my life. It was worse than 90% of the stuff on this forum which is saying something.

Mark Allen said he is the biggest flog in golf. His caddy said he was told to say he was kidnapped but doesn't believe him. He apparently makes Bernard Tomic look like an angel. He abuses international ground staff at all the courses he plays on. Sounds like an absolute $#@%hole.

He seems a bit of a flog if not a lot of a flog but Mark Allen may have some bias towards him.

You left out BJ sledging Ryder for changing clubs.

Ryder was asked in the post match interview about any sledging and he replied that BJ was really the only one. Pot.Kettle.Black.

I hope it gets in the Movie BJ.

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."
