Tough for Sinclair, would have preferred Ray but they don't like to give sub two weeks in a row. Plenty of individual performances to watch today but I for one am really interested in seeing Templeton who started off his career in glorious fashion and has struggled to get back to that form following a very serious injury. Has plenty of pace, skill, flare and good decision making (plenty of traits we are longing for) and would really love for him to solidify his spot in our midfield.

Isnt it funny how we see players. I reckon Templeton main issue is he doesn't have pace.

pretty much all the players we've drafted recently don't have pace.. they're all slow but Mckenzie does have some pace in him.. This years draft we're probably gonna grab fast outside midsplugger66 wrote:FQF wrote:Tough for Sinclair, would have preferred Ray but they don't like to give sub two weeks in a row. Pace in AFL to me is a combo of leg sheep and their style of playplugger66 wrote: Isnt it funny how we see players. I reckon Templeton main issue is he doesn't have pace.

Leg sheep would be handy in NZ.

You could be right, I have no idea how he goes in a sprint. But my recollection of his games early last year was that he did. Maybe it was actually his ability to move the ball quickly combined with his light frame that gave the perception of speed. Anyway, I put a lot of weight on the speed with which a player can gain possession and then dispose of the ball effectively — I've argued that this might be Holmes' biggest obstacle in the AFL — and I think Eli does this very well.plugger66 wrote:FQF wrote:Tough for Sinclair, would have preferred Ray but they don't like to give sub two weeks in a row. I reckon your knowledge of footy is poor. I also think you struggle to give any credit to any of our players. I do wonder why a supporter would be like that unless they actually aren't a supporter of our club.

Agreed and that's why I probably don't rate him highly. Hope im wrong but I didn't see the excitement last year. I would have been one of few though so im probably wrong.
