Seb Ross
Members I missed the 1st quarter due to a family commitment. Settled in and realized I didn't see Seb Ross. I hear he was replaced at half time? Was that due to poor form or injury? If the former that's disappointing after his recent form. I think Dunstan is on the cusp of being dropped. Did anyone see it differently?

Re: Seb Ross
Subbed off 3 minutes before 3/4 time.
If you didn't see him it was because he went missing.
Dunstan very good 20 touches and 5 tackles in a badly beaten midfield.

Re: Seb Ross
yeah it was. I have been one that has said I didn't think Ross would make it. Since his injury he has been very good, the qtr v the Dogs and last week.Vazelos wrote:I just read it was just before 3rd quarter thanks. Interesting to see who gets game time last 3rd of the season. Disappointing for Ross.
This week against real talent he showed very little and was comprehensively outplayed. Deserved to be dragged.
However he is young and needs to learn the lesson of today.
Would love for him to prove me wrong.

Re: Seb Ross
Id like to see Murdoch get a game. I think he has some real talent and the attributes to make it at AFL level. Good size and can kick it.

Ross was good last week and so there is no need to panic.

Seb Ross
Didn't see the game in this murdoch free zone (Bull excepted) but hoping that if Ross gets the nod for this weekend he'll minimise what some are calling poor form to only one game. Preventing a negative pattern is also growth.
On the radio the Saints were sounding good from a momentum and initiative point of view straight after 1/2 time. The 3rd. Qrt I think was 3g 3pts. to 1 goal early on but in the later part of the Qrt. Saints started spraying shots wildly, Giants were greatly encouraged according to the commentators.
Hope to see a bit more of Dan McK & Acres before the season ends there but isn't long left to see a bit of Paddy & Hugh this season. Late last year it appeared that we were sure to get a v.good player with our first pick. This year it seems a bit more cloudy but it will still be a vital call @ 5,6,or 7 to successfully continue the rebuilding of of the team.

The boy can play and we can build a defence around him that will have respect.

Re: Seb Ross
Probably a matter of not doing what the coach needed, and seeing the midfield under-performed badly against GWS in the first part of the game which cost us a win, and a game which was winnable for us, then someone is going to get the chop, and Seb is the one this week.
