When the pressure is on our skill level seems to be worse than almost every team in the league.

Now this draft coming up we need to get a player with best kicking skills. I dont csre if he only gets the ball 15 times a game or is soft as butter, but delivers them with precision rather than racking up 30 with a 50% efficiency like most of the team atm

We look elite when there is no pressure like the game against Essendon and Freo last year

Would get away with it if he was our 5th best mid.
Unfortunately at present he is either our best or second best, need to draft some skills into midfield urgently!

Agree. Get best mid available with kicking skills at draft plus look at GWS and GC to raid more talent that's not getting a game.

Reports suggesting Siposs is having a goood game in the VFL. May get his chance.

Firstly Sipposs is not a midfielder and secondly, he butchers the ball by foot as bad as anyone I have seen at the club, constantly tries to kick the crap out of the ball and completely shanks it.

We have watched it for years now, but the Saints Recruiters continue to bring in guys with poor kicking skills, that do not change over time.

When will they (Recruiters) learn

Watching Hawthorn on the tele. It's funny how good their "entire team" is with their kicking skills - and how dominant they are as a result :!:

Firstly the OP never mentions midfielders so your first point is just a guy yelling at a cloud. Nice one.
Secondly, I think you just described Siposs as a shorter, slower version of Gilbert.

Our disposal was appalling however I take comfort in the fact we played 1 good quarter and ended the game +10 for inside 50s. Clearly we weren't that bad all over the ground it's just that poor disposal couldn't hit a target inside 50, not helped by the uber flood defensive tactics, we couldn't find an inch.

Good foot skills IMO are tough to teach. You recruit for it.
Face facts we don't have the cattle to seriously compete yet - some on here getting well ahead of themselves cause we beat a pathetic Essendon.
Draft and trade well is and must be our focus - short term wins over cellar dwellars mean little long term.
