They're getting rewarded for ducking into tackles. When they get tackled, they get an eternity to get rid of it. And every possible call is going their way.

Blatantly obvious there is an umpiring conspiracy against Schnieder
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

This is our worst half of the year.
Absolutely pathetic by foot.
Not good enough. Not good enough at all.

And now they make up a free kick to gift the GWS another one.

He should be in the twos, different umpires there and standard of footy is lower - he will fit in.magnifisaint wrote:Blatantly obvious there is an umpiring conspiracy against Schnieder

We will never be any good until he is not in our best 22!saintjake wrote:Geary gets out marked by a first year pigmy. What does he offer.
Slow, terrible skills and even worse decision making.

Yes pretty ordinary at the moment, 3 touches in a half is not going to get it done.jonesy wrote:Sub Ross off at halftime for Ray . Doesn't get the ball, which is not ideal for a slow midfielder

What an awful half of football. Horrendous kicking skills and equally bad umpiring to boot

I think Ross will get subbed. Going as well as the Australian cricket team

Amazingly are still in it if we decide to play. They aren't outstanding and we are flat. Really reminds me of the dogs game with a bit of a sniff still.

Re: Match thread v Giants
BS Ross and Dunstan have been very average along with others but as midfielders go we will be always an average side if these 2 slow players are considered best 22.terry smith rules wrote:yes-we-get-it-you-don't-like-him,now-go-away-idiot.saintjake wrote:Geary gets out marked by a first year pigmy. Re: Match thread v Giants
People thinking the umpires are the issue are deluded. It's right there in front of you. We haven't turned up to play today. We are awful atm, but so were the dogs last night at the same point.
God forbid, we may have got ahead of ourselves. That half hopefully will be a wake up call.

Re: Match thread v Giants
Our disposal is appalling.
We really are killing ourselves.
Umpires very inconsistent. Soft free kicks in our forward half, ignoring arm chops and blocks in our forward half.
Really we need to get back to the pressure we ave been putting on teams.
We need to stop the incredibly bad turnovers.
Will cop a loss but not with this performance.

Re: Match thread v Giants
Well, we're not use to playing in front of a 90% empty stadium that holds 25,000 people. One wonders how much money the AFL is pouring into this black hole of a club. Hope they get a final and less than 10,000 people show up. Team should have gone to Tasmania where they actually want a team.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

You'd think when "bomb it long to Bruce" doesn't work for the 11th time you change your tactics.
Want to see a big second half from the boys, even if we don't win it.

Re: Match thread v Giants
While the cause of us being behind has everything to do with us playing badly, the free kick count is 6-12 at half time their way. We are getting nothing and they are getting almost everything.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!
