Today was one of those magical games to watch where just about everything went right for the team and everyone played well. No passengers out there and I loved seeing the look on the Bomber fans lol.

Those having a go at Schneider just confirm their knowledge of footy is as bad as Essendon played today. Ok to have an opinion but Schneider was great today as were about 21 other players. Seriously some of you need a friggin bloody mirror.
Re: Saints worst player today
In all seriousness, I think Sam Fisher looked a bit off the pace today.
Obviously first game back in a while and got subbed off, but can't see him going on next year despite having a decent season so far (injuries aside). Truth is I don't really want him to go on as we need to transition into our next generation defence.. Led by HG..
Goddard needs to become our key back from next season with Roberton and Webster the 2 key weapon rebounders. Those 3 are genuine A grade talent IMO, with Dempster remaining for a year or 2 as the experience, and then McKenzie/Delany?Geary/Whoever taking the other 2 defensive spots.
But, yeah, hard to pick a worst. I'd normally default to Longer as my standard worst, but he was fantastic today.

No did you? Probably had 6 beers and then another 6 at the pub. I hope those having a go at Schneider drank metho all day. I cant see any other excuse for not understanding the game.

Re: Saints worst player today
In fairness to Fisher, in our quest to play a side in which every player has offensive capability, we have replaced Delaney with Fisher which is not Sam's natural position. Sure he can hold his own as a KPD but he's best work is done as a second or third back playing loose and starting rebounds.

Someone had to get subbed out and fisher with his injuries was a good option.

How the @#@$% do they put those together? That says Cooney was better than Ray. I can tell you now that is seriously skewed because Cooney was rubbish and Ray played well.
