Sandringham – Ahmed Saad

Saad played a really important part in the win over Footscray, which included four shots at goal with a 2.2 return, along with fifteen disposals. His tackling pressure and nous for the goals will again be a vital component if the Zebras are to beat the Pies away from home.

Collingwood – Ben Moloney

The Magpies’ midfield general was at his devastating best against Box Hill, clocking up 35 disposals, nine marks, nine tackles, four inside 50s and three rebound 50s. The Zebras must shut him down and not allow him to impact the contest the way he did against the Hawks.

UPDATE: The Collingwood VFL Radio stream is horrendously bias (as expected) and overly complimentary to the Collingwood listed players (again, as expected). Aside from Clinton Jones, every other Sandy player simply gets called "Sandringham". Better to follow along on the @sandyzebs twitter methinks.

I think the main difference (aside from talent) is the speed of the game. What always kept Jones from being a genuine A-grader at AFL level was his decision making and disposal. In the VFL he has more time to think and, as a result, is more efficient with his ball use. Would have to be leading the Liston (or close to it) at this stage you'd think.
