Sounds fair. Foxtel still keep exclusive live whilst 7 get some content, albeit on a 2 hr delaykosifantutti wrote:Delayed telecast replacing Crows - Cats game.

The game is postponed to start at 2:30pm instead of 1:10pm, the telecast with start at 2:30pm with a pre-game show and the telecast of the game will be from 3:00 therby a delay of 30mins.saintspremiers wrote:Sounds fair. Re: Bombers game on Channel 7
I wonder when the AFL and the club are going to notify people of this change. My guess is that the game will set a record for the proportion of the final crowd figure in the ground two hours before the game starts.mohannair wrote:The game is postponed to start at 2:30pm instead of 1:10pm, the telecast with start at 2:30pm with a pre-game show and the telecast of the game will be from 3:00 therby a delay of 30mins.

Re: Bombers game on Channel 7
The only thing I can find.
How will TV and radio coverage be affected?
The Seven Network, which was due to broadcast the cancelled Adelaide v Geelong game, will now cover Essendon v St Kilda game on delay.
Essendon v St Kilda will therefore be broadcast live nationally on the Fox Footy Channel, broadcast commencing from 1pm EST and also on delay on the Seven Network in its previously scheduled Sunday timeslots - Melbourne 3pm EST on Channel 7; Adelaide 2:30pm CST on Channel 7; Sydney 3:00pm EST on 7Mate. Regional networks will follow metro times accordingly.
Separately, Triple M, 3AW and FIVEaa radio partners that were going to broadcast the match at Adelaide Oval will now provide coverage of the match at Etihad Stadium.
Have any start times for matches been changed?
Yes. The following changes have been made to allow for a minute's silence before each match to honour the life of Phil Walsh.
Saturday, July 4
Gold Coast Suns v North Melbourne
Metricon Stadium
New start time – 4:40pm EST (previously 4:35pm EST)
Saturday, July 4
Western Bulldogs v Carlton
Etihad Stadium
New start time – 7:30pm EST (previously 7:20pm EST)
The match start times for the other Round 14 matches will remain as originally scheduled as these start times sufficiently allow for a minute's silence before those respective matches.

The game is still starting at 1.10pm. Channel 7 broadcast at 3pm, Fox Footy as usual:

I saw last night after the game when Stevo was in the panel discussing the changes and mentioned that the game times have been changed. Either I heard it wrong or he said it wrong.
Either way I apologise for the confusion.
Happy I can watch the game on Ch 7

Re: Bombers game on Channel 7
Been watching tonight's game and haven't watched a Sat night telecast all year.
How much longer do we have to put up with BT, Lingy and Darcy? It's so s*** and won't be watching again anytime soon.

To commentate Saturday nights on 7 your IQ needs to be at least 30% below average.SaintPav wrote:Been watching tonight's game and haven't watched a Sat night telecast all year.

Actually it's the other way round.mthey treat the average supporter like they are below average IQ when we are not.
Treat your audience like idiots and the "idiots" will switch off.
