Re: Phillip Walsh murdered
I'm finding this news tough to digest. So sad for all the crows, that club has just had their heart ripped out and it will be so long before football seems important for them again. Obviously sad for the family as well, as well as losing a father, the son seems to be lost in a different way which will haunt them all for the rest of their lives.
We are all one team, one club, one family, and we grieve Phil Walsh, by all accounts an outstanding individual who has left a profound legacy on today's football family.

Just My Opinion

Hang your scarves out folks.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Possibility of 'ice' involved.

Also says the son is being held in the Margaret Tobin ward in Flinders Medical Centre. A tragic irony there.

Re: Phillip Walsh murdered
To me this story is so much bigger than footy. Not sure where to begin.
Having said that, well done by the AFL and the two sides and the crowd tonight. Real class. Made me proud.I'm not sure what of or what I have to be proud about. Just other people. You know what. They are ok. Good on you.

I am no expert, I'll be very clear on that . But I think no-one will be surprised if drugs played a role in this. This is way too heavy for a footy forum but I assume he will be on suicide watch. This is the come down of all come downs.Richter wrote:Possibility of 'ice' involved.

I see the irony Richter... I read a lot about Margaret... Pioneer of her time.
Won't stay there for long i wouldn't think. It'll be interesting to see if there are any reports of psychotic sx or if this more a rage type thing.

Looks like you're right. Farking incredible
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.
