Whose on the bench?
I would love to HickeY given a shot at No 1 ruck over Longer. McKernan very mobile around the ground, and Hickey can take in the ruck.
Suspect Sinclair for Minch.

Re: Team v Bombers
Goddard, Hickey and Minch miss IMO. Doubt they would drop Delaney to play Goddard, Hickey doesn't fit into the forward line and Minch is replaced by a better player.

Re: Team v Bombers
I'd like to basically see Ross and Dunstan swap roles this week. Thought having an inside mid worked well against tired legs in the 4th quarter. Hickey, Goddard and Ray out for mine. Rotate minch, sinclair and Schneider between forward line and on ball.

Re: Team v Bombers
depending on any 'pending' issues, final Captains run soreness- someone or 2 or 3 will miss out on games this week as the VFL play the day before--
when we play first the emergencies get to play the next day.
and unlike Sebbie this week- don't need to do extra running.or weights

Re: Team v Bombers
So Mckenzie is kept in the 2s for another week whilst the likes of Ray and Gilbert still get games . I thought we were in a rebuilding phase? Strange

Re: Team v Bombers
Delaney dropped - I must have missed something last week.
Goddard may be there as a safety in case Fisher does not come up.
Can't see Hickey making it.
Minch may be in a spot of bother for final selection.

He wasn't a first choice last week but he had a good game.

Re: Team v Bombers
Not suprised Delaney is out, he was lucky he wasn't playing on an inform player last week! His form has been poor IMO for the past few weeks!
Would love to see Goddard get a game to play on and slaughter Daniher....

Re: Team v Bombers
Dunstan is listed for Sandy as well so would not be surprised if Ross takes his spot and Sinclair slips in for Minch. If Fish is OK he comes in, if not then Goddard (next generation) debuts.

They all listed. That happens every game when you play Sunday.

A bit suss. Treating us like fools again. I thought the club was being more open and honest. Strange.Bunk_Moreland wrote:5 weeks for shin soreness hmmmmmmmmaverick wrote:Is Billings close or has he had a setback?

Shin splints can be like that they settle and you think your right to run again and then they keep flaring up, it is an unpredictable injury....saintspremiers wrote:A bit suss. I don't think they ever said he would play. Obviously didn't get through training. The club have been very honest this year. Previously not so much.

Obviously managing him to see out the season. We will need him for the tougher games in the last month of matches.

WIN This WEEK
If i had to choose which game i'd rather win - Dogs or Bombers it would be beating Essendon. The previous encounter was one that slipped through the fingers. Hope it's different on Sunday.

Re: Team v Bombers
With the Phil Walsh tragedy, are there going to me any more games this weekend? On SEN they're not sure what's going to happen.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!
