Out: Gilbert, Schneider, Delaney
In: Fisher, Billings, 8cres
Still not sure what anybody sees in Lonie. He doesn't do enough in my opinion but it is only his first year.

Re: changes for next week
Out: Gilbert (his appalling disposal costs more than he is worth), Minch (Not ready for AFL yet), Delaney (Lacks confidence at the moment let him go back to Sandy and regain it)
In: Lee, Billings, Fisher (All 3 have excellent disposal skills)

Re: changes for next week
No idea of ins or outs yet because Sandy haven't played but Gilbert and Schneider wont be outs. Minchington for Billings is the obvious one if Billings is fit. Still need a ruckman who looks like he knows what a mark is.

Re: changes for next week
In encouraging news. Longer took an overhead mark in the last. I agree with you that Hickey is the better footballer by far at this stage.plugger66 wrote:Still need a ruckman who looks like he knows what a mark is.
However it may be simply that the club considers Longer more robust, physical and able to run out games.

Yes I know that and they have me covered with footy knowledge but Im just not a fan of guys who cant do anything apart from tap the ball. At half time we had a massive 3 taps to advantage. It isn't good enough that a player just does that.

Re: changes for next week
I only managed to catch the last quarter and will watch the full match today but if Gilbert butchered the ball and gave up goals as mentioned on this site then he goes.
I saw him get caught as he waltzed out of defense in the last quarter and thought he just needed to pick up the speed of it but if his disposal is still poor and hurting us it's time to go.
Clarko dropped Suckling this year and publicly stated it was because of his disposal efficiency. Granted there was a late withdrawal and he played anyway but kicking is king in today's football. I think Langford also got dropped for the same reason too.
Time for Richo to make a statement and drop some butchers and bring in silk (hopefully Billings will be available).

Gilbert has to stay. He does some ordinary stuff but he closing speed is fantastic. He wont be dropped IMO.Goose is king wrote:I only managed to catch the last quarter and will watch the full match today but if Gilbert butchered the ball and gave up goals as mentioned on this site then he goes.

Ross must start on the ground. He was our best midfielder by far in the 4th quarter

To be fair to the others the rest were stuffed. Hardest running game I have seen in years.
