Re: Team v Bulldogs
throw in Jimmy Gwilt and Neal and the back 6 could have 2010 G'final reunion get together before the game very familiar looking defensive unit. I'm glad Delaney has made way for FIsher. Delaney should become backup fullback only imo going forward. Too limited to be part of a really high quality back 6. Dissapointed for Acres but e still isn't demanding he retain his spot with his performances so back to the VFL to knock down the door. the same heat should be on guys like Ross, Dunstan, Minch, all the youngsters. they need to demand that they keep their spot or they risk dropping out...it's a good conundrum to have because injury will also open opportunities in the back half of the season.

Re: Team v Bulldogs
Hot Tub time machine. Are we going to party like its 2009? This is our oldest side for the year.
Average Age Round 13
Saints: 25.4
Bulldogs: 24.0
Average Age for season (Rd 1-12)
St Kilda: 24.3
Bulldogs: 24.2
We should win this.

Re: Team v Bulldogs
What a joke. Are we the oldest team of the round. Talk about a shortarse dad's army backline. Thank god we have schneider back because we're really missing that experience. Stupid, stupid selections again that give the team no chance of a win.
Re: Team v Bulldogs
We don't have a real bona fide KPD in the team, but WB don't have a dangerous KPF. Fisher will have Boyd covered. A strong side. Would really like to see Membrey have a blinder.
Will be won and lost in the midfield. Game will depend on the output of the support case: Dunstan, Ross et al.

Re: Team v Bulldogs
I thought Acres might be axed after last round. Made a couple of schoolboy errors, which you'd expect from a young player. Hopefully he gets another chance soon

I did for 1-12
and then for 13.
To make a comparison - seeing this thread is about this weeks side.
But you are welcome. Not like I spent any time on it or anything. Flog.

Maybe we should have kept Gwilt. Then we could drop Webster and have the oldest and worst backline in AFL/VFL history

Re: Team v Bulldogs
I can't disagree with that. Fisher is better and more agile than Delaney. Roberton will give us a lot more run. We want to win this one, hence the experience of Schneider over Acres. Acres is for the future and he made a couple of costly mistakes last week.
Minch played well enough for another game and I like the movement and aggression that Membery brings.
Hopefully it will be a great game - going with lots of anticipation for a Saints win.
