The problem with people on here is they are are far to serious. Why would I give a rats what you say. We don't even know each other. For all you know I could be you. And thanks for telling me how I post. I really do care. How is that for condescending?

Far out, this is turning into a dead set civil war. I'm as guilty as the next man, but over 4 threads about it now and most of us picking sides. People using this to ignite their old personal battles. No one is going to change their opinion here are they? No one is going to say, "oh good point, I'll reconsider my position" - not here. You might say that it's fun to witness this titanic flamefest but it's like ivy now, strangling every new thread here and not letting other plants grow.
I'll present the olive branch if you like. I can see that the tankers want the same thing we do, for St Kilda to be a strong team.
We've all got different ways we want it to happen, but we would all like the best draft picks and to win all the games if that were possible.
Can we just try to agree that we all support St Kilda, that this year losses are not as painful as we can all see the big picture. That's thanks to the openness and honesty of the Club and its vision.
Can we agree that on this fan forum, if we want to talk about losing games to maximise our draft position, it's understood that it is with reluctance and that we would prefer to be a dominant team?
Can we accept that we all have different opinions about the best way to become dominant, and those different opinions are each other's right, though we don't agree?
Most of all, if it must be discussed, can we try to do it sanely, without all the one-up-manship and smartarsery and aggression (again: I'm as guilty as the next)? Though we may find each other's views disgusting or pathetic, let us avoid our emotions and focus on the subject.
I know its just a laugh and no one is getting hurt, but this is just going to fester and fester and consume the whole forum if we don't make a conscious effort to pull out. There can be no resolution.

I have a vivid memory of you attacking me for stating that i had been told, and I had, that this year was mainly about ladder position.
