having a dip at also means having a go, having a shot at, having a dig at - as a joke, yes it is funny and yes, I agree Tony Abbott does fit all categories - just re reading your post, it does come across to me as you are are having at go at me in particular because you think I happen to have it in for Abbott as an ongoing theme

It would be good for you to acknowledge that sometimes we come across online not as we intend to and that you, probably more than anyone, tend to have at dig / dip at others more often that you do share a joke with the them and posters can be naturally defensive and will respond on the basis of not giving you the benefit of doubt

that's all, no biggie, no need for a post war no need to suggest that because I take you on face value, that I need a laugh - I probably laugh more than most just to keep from crying

Nearly 12 months on, was there any resolution to this suggestion of the General Forum reverting back to one forum rather that 73 sub-forums?

Strange that the low traffic in here gets subdivided into tiny subforums, it's the equivalent of dividing the opposition and other sports forum into individual clubs, and individual sports - where's the EPL forum, the VFL forum, the Carlscum Losing forum?

Obviously the division of the GF into the NGF and its myriad of sub-forums is the beloved brain-child of those in charge and stands bugger-all chance of change.

I fear you have set your standards too low P66 if you are claiming posting is on the up. But yes, with team success returns the interest. I find myself reading more and posting less for whatever reason.

... as in , T minus 365 , T minus 364 etc etc , all the way until T minus 11
Thereafter becoming 10 , 9 , 8 etc etc

Seems a hell of a lot easier to revert the GF than all that work that went into subdividing and moving threads - and gee didn't that happen in a flash. kinda getting the feeling, just sneaking into the furthest reaches of my mind, peaking out of the subconscious in little flashes - that bfusa couldn't give a flying f*** about the GF. So why didn't he just LEAVE IT ALONE!

(little tribute to stinger, who despite alienating a few, was a gf stalwart - family).
