Love to know how we would have ended up staying under the sc and keeping all these superstars on the list.
We had enough salary cap issues as it was.
It would have been a good problem, but still...

I was thinking that as I trawled through. Made it count with Thomas and Pendlebury with 2 & 5.WindSister wrote:... not real sure about that. Not one club has won a flag by tanking, not one.

Re: I'm torn...
rode kwakka 9's actually
black fullfaces n dark visors
... called my shep Stone.
(not for the movie ... but coz she had a thing for rocks)
haha ... even had a flip out top hat for party time at one stage ,
years later ... but by that time i was riding a 72 4speed breadbox Trident
which actually handled and loved going round corners ... weight over the front end
saved me .... those k9 death traps were bullsh1t 'n killed too many.
Interesting stuff ... the guy who played the Undertaker (the guy on the left)
was a dude called sandy harbutt ... wrote it , directed it , produced it.
That opening scene was legendary stuff.
'n the Soundtrack was Mushy Rock to drink daytura tea by
for a boy more attuned to Chris Spedding.

Re: I'm torn...
That's not Sandy H, or his character Undertaker, that's Dr Death, played by Vincent Gil.
But yeah, great movie and awesome opening scene. I don't ride, myself, but watched that film aplenty!

Re: I'm torn...
What kind of a fool suggests we learn about the priority pick process only to confess later in the same thread that it's an AFL discretion thing completely???? Where's the process to learn gumby?plugger66 wrote:Teflon wrote:

Your a tad dull upstairs (except when denigrating women), by golly I think the boys finally got it!!
Must say I didn't get to read it all but I'm sure it's same type drivel to avoid a serious discussion that you don't get anyway !
Drivel but didn't read it. You cant even remember what you type in the one post. What hope do you have in a thread going over 30 pages. And please don't lie about denigrating women. Probably sums up your ability to actually think and type in the one decade. Its really sad. Anyway I hope we beat the WB.What about you teffers? Do you want to win that game?
Funny that man can argue about draft picks for 30 pages and doesn't even know how the priority pick works now. God help him. Well anyone help him. Please.
That aside riddle me this bat girl
Are you happy to win 1 extra game even if that mean missing out on a gun like Parish AND the AFL DISCRETION of a priority pick ???
FWIW - I don't need to read your posts to know they're drivel.... theyre usually the same collection of confused, incoherent, uneducated thoughts that falsify what people have said. You have form, it's boring, predictable form but form nonetheless
For the record I think women add enormously to our education system and I would never over simplify and generalise that contribution at the risk of trivialising that contribution.
Such a shame for this to occur on an interest forum from someone preaching courage...

I think that's for the bestAustinnn wrote:OK I'm done with this I'm moving on. Your opinion and mine won't effect the club's direction in the end Teflon, thankfully. Since you can't be bothered to deal honestly with the subject and prefer to clog up the thread being arrogant and abrasive, I'd rather not read what you write any more.
My final word is that although our opinions don't matter, a stadium full of dull emotive fans screaming for a win like stupid fools might turn you off football but I love it. Same for a fan forum. I shiver to think of a mind that considers being emotive about their football team as a negative, unless that mind is inside the body of our list manager. If I ever imagined that our head coach subscribed to your theory, I'd want him sacked immediately.
Wouldn't you?
FWIW I too would shudder to have someone simplistically manage our list strategy based purely on emotional needs from the 50's when we know the games a professional, cut throat business now
Keep cheering from the terraces though!!

The fella with the gun in this photo is Sandy/Undertaker. Some comically bad scenes in that film too, the guy playing the drums while telling a story, springs to mind!

The personal stuff again teffers. Its all very sad. With PP I know the rules and said them, you even asked if its about the amount of wins a side has. Hilarious especially when you are trying to argue for better draft picks.Teflon wrote:What kind of a fool suggests we learn about the priority pick process only to confess later in the same thread that it's an AFL discretion thing completely???? People have your MO teffers. When beaten you lie. Its that simple. Its also pathetic. You lack courage to answer basic questions and lack the ability to discuss things without the personal stuff. And your opinion changes even in the one thread. Its all very disappointing for your family. Was going to say friends but that would be a lie and I don't want to start what you cant stop.
Happy to answer you question though unlike you. We cant get a PP this year because it isn't extraordinary circumstances. As for Parish I don't know a thing about him but can you tell already what pick number he is? Considering you know nothing about the AFL that would be an amazing achievement.
Re: I'm torn...
Lets just hope we beat the WB next game. Would be great for the club as a whole and make the supporters weekend feel good.

Sliky mid with a lot of skill and a bit of toe. As for where he will be picked, well some had him as high as No.1 others like Terry Wallace had him going @ No.11.plugger66 wrote:As for Parish I don't know a thing about him but can you tell already what pick number he is? If we have say pick four we are in with a great chance of getting Parish or Tucker as it is thought that Carlton, GC and the Lions may go for the quality talls in the draft and both Tucker and parish may slide.
A bit like Buddy sliding to No.5 (and the Tigers with a better pick taking that champion Tambling).
You are garbage - Enough said

Yep the pick number doesn't guarantee a thing but a win next week with guarantee a happy club and most supporters. Its far to early to worry about what number pick we will have. And we aren't good enough to decide our pick anyway. We should just try and win all the games we can. Will still get a top 5 pick. However if I did want the lowest pick possible I would be hoping to lose every game. I doubt any saints supporter wants that after 2 terrible years already.
