Vision up on St kilda facebook page
St Kilda Football Club

You've never had access like this!
Exclusive coaches box audio from Round 11. Listen in as Alan Richardson talks to players on the interchange, plus hear the amazing reaction after Joey's winning goal in the final seconds.

can someone cleverer than me isolate the video?

Wow that was fantastic. Richo is super impressive, the calmness, the positive reassurance and the clarity of his message. Gosh, I'm really impressed.

The access is unique & praising the media department is great, but the truth is that this was Alan Richardson's idea: http://stk.lt/1QDIkXR

I cant tell you how much I would rather watch a game with coaches audio like that instead of the drivel we have to put up with most of the time.

That is fantastic.

Media content this year has been brilliant. It has me engaged again.

anyone else think the 'quiet' spot before Joey's goal is likely to be 'edited' rather than just quiet in the box?

Heavily edited.

Would love to hear the unedited one.

Great to hear the game unfold from the box.
Richo's passion for the club and the boys really impresses. He loved that win.

I think its all genuine except the beeping of swearing. You can hear Richo drop/throw his pen and his consistent breathing. Either that or the coaches box is very sound-proof!

I agree with Darren, you can hear the breathing thru that period. With 40 secs to go, there's not much Richo can do, especially if the runner is already out on the ground.

I loved how when Nick tried to talk...he just said listen to me. Loved the excitement at the end because when they showed that on TV, you always wonder what they are saying and their reaction....brilliant!

Best coach we have had since Jeansy in my opinion, great communicator with excellent teaching skills for the young guns and has the side playing an exciting brand of football, unlike the totally boring crap being played under Lyon.

I could not be more happy with our coach, the club and the direction we are heading in.

A fair bit early for those comments. Im guessing you didn't think our footy was boring in 2009. Matter of fact I would be sure you didn't.

Come on Plugger, we all know Lyons footy was turgid, it was great to win and I loved being so dominant, but wasn't an attractive game to watch. Even at the time some of us wanted to play with a bit more dare. Can't have everything I suppose. The results weren't boring, and our games weren't boring cos they were usually quite tight, but the style wasn't very exciting.

I think the whole world thought we were boring, me including, as all teams coached by Lyon are. That doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy reaching grand finals.

But Lyon's game plan was never a receipt for grand final success as history has shown so far. And don't bother saying haw close we came. It won't wash with me. I'd much rather we played like the Hawks did last year and absolutely smash the opposition.

Lyon will never achieve such a result unless he severely adjusts his negating game plan.

You do realise we were a very high scoring side in 2009. And if we had the players we may have played like the Hawks. We had great players but terrible depth and average middle range players. As I said its far to early to say Richo is better than RL. Some still think he isn't better than SW. And we came close to winning a flag.

Its amazing how people forget 2009. I loved our footy back then. One of the best home and away games I have seen was in 2009 and most games were great to watch.
