Was sitting pretty much right behind him on the weekend as he was the boundary guy for Fox.
He seemed like a good bloke, was smiling and talking to the other Fox people around him and also chatted and smiled to the people behind him.

Like saintsRrising & Plugger66 said, they get paid to make big calls, and in fairness it wasn't THAT bad of a call before we started the season. It wasn't looking promosing and this board was all doom and gloom.

Have to agree, have changed my opinion of King a bit. Was a disrespectful knuckleheaded comment which has come back to bite him hard.

Bought a membership and was good natured about it. Could be the big egotist and keep bagging the Saints but his sideline comments on Sunday were fair and balanced, both good observations and critisism where warranted.

One of my best mates was wacked by King when he was runner for the pies. King got 2 weeks and my mate got back page of the paper. They are now friends and he assures me he is a good bloke. I met him once at the races and he is exactly how I thought he would be. Loves a drink, a punt and a laugh. All things I rate very highly especially the laughing part. He had an opinion that was clearly wrong just as I was and I love the club. Big deal.

I judge people on what they do. King showed he wasn't up himself and haz accepted tbe ribbing. The interaction with Josh Bruce with the membership was very funny.

I changed my view based on perceptions of Kings behaviour. Other media types would hold a grudge and bag out the club. I have seen no evidence of that from him.
