Will be a close encounter against the Dees!!
After watchng the Dees push the Pies I expect our game to be closer one.
We are favorites and that may add more expectation.
Have to lock Bernie and Nathan.
Thoughts??

Should be a good game. Dees confidence will be up now.
Saints will have a good list to select from with Weller, Dunstan and DMack all available again.....and some strong possibilities from the twos including Gilbert, Lee, Goddard, Minch etc..
Will be interesting to see which way the selectors go for the game.

They played some good football today, in bursts, similar to us.
Agree it will be a close game.

Welled has to go to Jones, totally shut down second half against Port.
He is their everything.
I'd love to see Lonie concentrate on Heretier.

Aside for Fisher we basically have our best 22 at our disposal. I think we have more contributors across the park than they do.
Might Hogan be a good first assignment for Goddard?

Will be interesting to see how we respond to bring favourites. Great chance to notch up win No. 4 with a percentage booster. I don't care if they get a higher draft pick than us, they will balls it up as usual.
Yes they've improved - with a lot of help from the AFL - but so have we. Lets hope we get a better run from the umpires than yesterday's appalling display,

I forgot that if Markworth and Ssiposs both return this week that both of Sinclair and Schneider will be unavailable.FQF wrote:Aside for Fisher we basically have our best 22 at our disposal.
Fortunately next weekend we should have a number of options to cover their loss.

I am not promoting gambling but bookies have us as slight favourites.
Tight game this one. We should have an edge if put in a big game. Go in to the bye on 4 wins. Youd take that.

I'm glad Watts kicked a goal - gives him another week. I want us to set him back again!
We will win if we are playing at close to our best - Etihad, the extra day break and the fact the Queens bday game is their grand final each year.
My biggest worry is that little Gartlett. Small aboriginal forwards love to kill us when their is quick movement forward.

One of Sinclair or Schneider can be upgraded after round 11 to the primary listsaintsRrising wrote:I forgot that if Markworth and Ssiposs both return this week that both of Sinclair and Schneider will be unavailable.FQF wrote:Aside for Fisher we basically have our best 22 at our disposal.

I've heard Siposs is returning to Sandringham this weekend, not sure if it's Seniors or development squadsaintspremiers wrote:One of Sinclair or Schneider can be upgraded after round 11 to the primary listsaintsRrising wrote:I forgot that if Markworth and Ssiposs both return this week that both of Sinclair and Schneider will be unavailable.FQF wrote:Aside for Fisher we basically have our best 22 at our disposal.

interesting ladder this week - have a look at positions and percentages - all bar the hawks and eagles in perfect sync.SainterK wrote:

I suspect Webster will get that gig. Richo seemed happy with how he went on Cyril - although Garlett and Cyril play different styles...saintspremiers wrote: My biggest worry is that little Gartlett. Small aboriginal forwards love to kill us when their is quick movement forward.

Re: Will be a close encounter against the Dees!!
Those Melbourne supporters are starting to get cocky. One I work with says Acres is soft, McCartin won't make it and Bontempelli was a far better draft choice than Billings.
In short, we really don't know how to do a rebuild whereas they do. He says Jay Viney will go straight to Steven and hammer him early.
Please Saints, smash Melbourne this week. Otherwise motor mouth will have bragging rights for the whole season and I will have to put up with his condescending crap for another 12 months. Please!

I think we play them again in a few weeks from memory.
