Stated he wants us to lose AT LEAST 10 games for the year before yesterday, then gets upset when someone points out how happy he must be because his wish is coming true.
Dont see the issue when someone states they want our team to lose and then remind them of it.

Just to be clear. 2 seasons of highest picks possible equals two wooden spoons. TWO WOODEN SPOONS IN A ROW....AFTER ONE LAST YEAR. IMO any supporter who wants that of the Saints is not a supporter. 2. I have clearly stated that I don't want St Kilda to win the wooden spoon.
Instead of getting emotional saintsRrising, how about you discuss the issue by putting your view forward and backing it up with proof. The only thing you have achieved with your latest post is to completely dis-credit your self.
My suggestion is to go to my user and check out my recent post and read what I have actually said in this thread. You may actually realize that I want the Saints to win the flag just like you.

Seriously Teffes you are losing the plot. I don't know where you slightly got the idea that I think I was wrong. The more I read of you the more I see you only have thing to offer here and that pick 3 is better than pick 4. Wow. When asked questions to prove it helps in the long run you then again mention its the system. Keep fighting though. Its a lost cause just like you hope the saints are. Hope you enjoy the fast forwarding of the next 2 years. I will watching the game hoping we will win, you will be typing during the game not giving a stuff about the result. We need more of your supporter type.
And if you really have the courage you would tell us you want to lose every single game this year because we then may get pick one which is better than pick 2. How could you possibly say you follow the saints but hope we lose every single game left in the year? Maybe next year you will hope they lose 22 in a row just in case some side only wins one game.

Re: I'm torn...
Winning the # 1 pick means winning the wooden spoon. The logical conclusion toyour and Teflons magnificent and well thought out strategy is to get the best pick possible which is obviously #1 pick.citywest wrote:1. I haven't been banned permanently from Bigfooty. I can prove this if you want me to.

If you believe in optimising and maximising our chances at the draft, you have to believe you want no.1 pick, which means you want the wooden spoon.
Unless you want this you dont believe in this wonderful strategy.
So can you and Teflon answer if you want to maximise our chances which logically means the no.1 pick, or you only want to sorta maximise it by winning a arbitary number of games and not really maximising our chances at the draft?
you see this is how sensible your fantastic cerebal strategy look when taken to its logical conclusion.
Of course Citywest want the second option cause he wants us to win 6 games for the season (thereby barracking for another nine losses this year) so he is not really committed to the teflon doctrine of tanking and failure for three woosen spoons in a row.
Sounds like a great recipe for success. You guys should apply for the job of CEO and coach. Iam sure your business strategy would go down a treat with anyone that has more than a Bookkeepers crtificate.

Totally agree. Its like being half pregnant. if these guys are fair dinkum and its all about the system then surely they don't want to win another game until the start of 2017. Im sure I have read where they think that we need 2 more years of good picks and the best pick is number so just in case another side is poor it would be safer just to not win until the end of 2016. That's the system apparently.

So unless you are completely clueless, which I accept is a strong possibility, or have no idea how the draft actually works, again a possibility, then that means you want us to finish stone motherless last = WOODEN SPOON.
Or do you someohow know the path to the immaculate conception of a No 1 Draft pick without a Wooden Spoon?
So we can see that in fact that you clearly state nothting. You clain you do not want us to win a wooden spon, but euqally have clearly stated that you want us to have the highest possible draft picks.
Conclusion:
1/You cannot think through the consequences of your own argument
OR
2/ You are just trolling

Its about balance - show enough, play enough kids win some, lose some more.....short term pain but with a longer term goal and a plan to get talent into the club.
Keep up the hysterics - last time it was 'no FAs would come to us....' when that got shot down its back to 'you guys said lose every game....' blah blah blah
Honestly, at least be original if youre going to lie or get a new soundtrack cause youre old with this one.
Again who said lose every game??? you hysterical queens need to show us the post?

Where in this thread have I stated I want us to lose every game - i thought this site did have rules about baiting or at least about simply making up lies
That aside, I am please you finally realise pick 3 is a better option than pick 4 .....its taken 16 pages to get that through....
What happens beyond then is anyones guess but once again not the point of the thread.
A few simple questions teffes that you probably wont answer. Does the system give you better picks the lower you get? Do you want the best picks possible this year and next? Is the only way to guarantee the best pick possible next year by winning no games? And to guarantee the best pick possible this year wouldn't we need to lose every single game left? Now they are simple questions so can you please answer them.

My suggestion is to go to my user and check out my recent post and read what I have actually said in this thread. You may actually realize that I want the Saints to win the flag just like you.
FACT we wont get pick 1 so how can that be we finish 'stone motherless last?'....
Honestly get a grip or give yourself an uppercut.
Getting access to the highest possible pick we can does not automatically mean another spoon and pick 1- in this case it wont and cant...but you can still aim for the best possible pick you can get?
If youre not going to adde to the discussion cause you clearly dont get it then best stay out of it....we got enough simpletons arguing the same emotional drivel points already...

Why does it follow that I want us to maximise our draft picks and therefore it must be pick 1?Bunk_Moreland wrote:Winning the # 1 pick means winning the wooden spoon.

That takes no account of where we actually are a side and we are not last and wont finish last

Of course we could finish last. 3 wins usually does finish last. Well certainly before the new sides came in. You want to finish as low as possible because of the system so surely that follows that we give ourselves the best chance of finishing last by winning no more games or at least the best chance of the second pick. It seems you don't have the courage to say you don't want us to win anymore this year but you keep telling about this system that rewards clubs lower down the ladder. Its seems you are half pregnant.

But its simply not true to say I want us to lose every game - why do I need courage to say something that I know wont happen and dont believe in?

There's no way we could finish on the bottom.
We've won three games and we're 2 games and 13% clear of last place.
Whereas after round 10 last year, we had 3 wins and were 2 games and 13% clear of last place.
