He seems to be slow off the first step but is quick when he is already moving. There are a few guys with the opposite in the team like Lonie who seem to be going full tilt off one step. Miley was like that too, wasn't fast but you couldn't catch him.

He seems to be slow off the first step but is quick when he is already moving. There are a few guys with the opposite in the team like Lonie who seem to be going full tilt off one step. Miley was like that too, wasn't fast but you couldn't catch him.

The thing is: he's a quick thinker. His hands are quick. So even if he's not explosively quick, he seems to know what he's going to do very quickly.

Like Hammill said - they need to give him a few games before they can actually judge him properly, if he is indeed putting in the effort required.

Solid. 20 plus 3 tackles. Cramped up and head clash with LD. So eventful day. Clearly held his own.
Seems to play quite similar at VFL or AFL level.
Is he a left or right footer? Seems to go on both which is a good sign.

8cres had the 6th most possessions for us yesterday with 75% disposal efficiency. At 190cm (6'3") he seems to move really well and was involved in a number of link up plays with some great handballs. More full games at AFL level is what's needed for him.

I'm sure he was, he was actually lucky his head was knocked into the face of Dunstan. I think his would have been sore but not much damage compared to Luke.
