Some of the decision making poor. Did McKenzie think he could get through the pack?

Thank the footy gods for moving Bruce forward!
When drafted by GWS they tried to turn him into a backman...........
given they had Cameron/Patton etc
It did not work and he was struggling at GWS
We then get him for nearly nothing.........................move him back to where he should be.

Re: Crows v Saints match thread
Saints unfortunately keep playing turnover footy.
DMac play summed up the game. Rather than go forward miskicks backwards to set up a later goal. Ironically froam hol;ding the ball against DMac.
We are just havinga game where we get it ok, but kills ourselves with way to many turnovers to give the Crows soft goals on the rebound.

Bring the margin to under 30 points and I think we have something to take away from this game. If this young group are serious they can't allow it to blow out.
Lost two leaders before the game, lost THE leader in the first quarter alongside a rising star.
They've lost a couple of guns two but if we can keep it competitive against a very good side interstate it would show a lot of character.

Re: Crows v Saints match thread
First training session next week I would make all the players have 500 shots at goal. Not good enough.

Re: Crows v Saints match thread
The endeavour has been good but decision making and kicking for goal very poor.
I think if we could have kept our team out there we would be well in it.

we played in the back line due to injuries to a lot of our taller backmen last year
Re: Crows v Saints match thread
Two completely different game styles and obviously theirs is working better. But really the only difference is taking chances. They've barely missed, even the hard ones, while we've missed at least four or five sodas. Won't end up a great result but I'm actually not too worried, all things considered.

Won a brownlow in 87. Would be real handy. Bruce would have to go back though.SainterK wrote:That #14 for the saints would of been handy

Yes is 99% now. But with that ana nephew killed froma coward punch I have spent too much time in those wards, and have good idea what goes on.SainterK wrote: Trust your wife is better now...
Koncks to the head are problematical, and often blood swelling can cause real problems (hence my nephews death after he went to bed no t realising the danger he was in). Often thet wil just monitor and all will be ok.
But there are all many of other potential problems., and quick answers are often not forthcoming.
Lets just hope that it is only concussion. But concussion can be at many levels of severity.

Absolute gift to Shenton
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Re: Crows v Saints match thread
Once again our kicking skills are that of a bottom 2 side! Our kicking at goal and field kicking prevented us from putting any pressure on Adelaide at all.
Why is it we have so many players that cant hit a target under any sort of pressure?
Surely we have a better match up for Betts than Dempster! Very poor coaching AR at least try someone different on him why just concede?

Visited an acquired brain injury unit many times myself, tragic place, too many severe head knocks for what is just a game lately

Do the channel 7 commentators know that Lynch played for us. The type of thing they would normally repeat ad nauseum.

Had a look at the Hawthitm v Melbourne score? We're not doing that bad considering the circumstances.
