As long as Rooey is ok, who cares. They can have their win vs a depleted St Kilda side.wasaintsfan wrote:For those at home Adelaide has kicked 9 of last 10 goals, basic skills gone from saints structure is gone

I'm sure our team won't give up, though.

Saints seem to have settled in the last five - but those two bull umpire goals hurt.

I agree. We will deal with this loss, but there has to be concerns on Nick at the moment.

Re: Crows v Saints match thread
Our kicking at goal today has been woeful so far. Scores should be closer.

To me Templeton looks to be carrying a bit of weight and has lost his explosive running speed

adelaide were clinical when they got their run...
saints missed at least gettable goals taht quareter...
should be within 2 goals right now...
bad miss Newnes... just did not handle the pressure

Faaaaaaark if we could kick straight and kick it to the advantage of our forwards we would be in a lot better shape. Adelaide get two cheap high frees and kick goals out of their backsides.

If you take off those two bulls*** free goals to Caemeron the game is just about level.

Re: Crows v Saints match thread
From my perspective watching on tv it appeared that we were psychologically 'shot' for most of that second quarter.
It seemed to take almost 20minutes before the players (and coaching staff) got their minds back on the game.
And I know that the umpires are not 'cheats' but the 2 decisions that resulted in Cameron kicking 2 goals showed, IMHO, a complete lack of understanding of the game and were a show of total incompetence. especially in light of the many 'non-decisions' they seem to make.

Lonie 'subbed out' with concussion after a heavy front on (legal) clash in the first quarter.

geez we loose joey in the warm up and 2 players in first quarter. If we can not get smashed then we have done well I reckon.
Would love some news on Rooey.

Roo isn't subbed out. But I'd be a little surprised if he came back.

Lonie was tough at the player didn't take a backward step, no head clash though but would have felt like he hit a truck.Mr Magic wrote:Smith - both players 'subbed out.Bunk_Moreland wrote:Can someone let me know what happened to Roo and Lonie. Head clash with Roo, but with whom?

Re: Crows v Saints match thread
Believed to be mild concussion. Unlike in previous years, if a player gets concussed they tend to not let them come back on. Club Doctors have really toughened up on this.Bunk_Moreland wrote:Can someone let me know what happened to Roo and Lonie. Head clash with Roo, but with whom?

Roo gone to hospital for possible fracture no news yet.

Roo's gone to hospital. Precautionary xrays I imagine, hopefully nothing broken.mullet wrote:geez we loose joey in the warm up and 2 players in first quarter. If we can not get smashed then we have done well I reckon.

We'll do well to limit the damage in the second half. Being down one rotation for three quarters is a killer. Have a look at how it affected the dogs last week
Opinions are like arseholes, everybody's got one.
Re: Crows v Saints match thread
Roos collision made feel a little sick, did not see him move at all being taken off. Players definitely appear distracted in that quarter and I understand why.
