Really? After a few games getting around 20 possessions? Would love to know what Tom Mitchell was thinking for the past 2 years getting around 40 possessions.Hallalj#3 wrote:His young but Acers would feel a little WTF..

Re: No change v Crows
Newnes hasn't been all that impressive this season.. He plays in a similar position. Newnes best position is being occupied by Geary. But we all know Geary can turn the ball over a thousand times and never be dropped, our leadership has some players who are struggling atm..plugger66 wrote:Hallalj#3 wrote:His young but Acers would feel a little WTF..

Re: No change v Crows
Bit different considering Mitchell was trying to get into a top 4 team and Acers hasn't really had the oppurtunity and by all reports doing everything he is being asked at VFL level. He has obvious talent he is fit and healthy I think it's time to let him develop at the AFL like Dunstan, Billings, Lonie and Mckenzie are.FQF wrote:Really? There is one that's been pretty sore recently so don't be surprised if one of the emergencies gets a gig.Hallalj#3 wrote:Newnes hasn't been all that impressive this season.. Tony let me know now if it's Savage so I can get him out of my supercoach side.

Re: No change v Crows
Just checked the records and the last time we had no team changes was in 1924 when we dropped Wells Eicke after when it was revealed he was intending to cross over to North Melbourne. Incredible.

Re: No change v Crows
Hard to change the team after a win like that. It's a reward for everyone who played in it, even Savage who spent most of it concussed.
Don't worry, Acres and others will get their chances.
It's not as if we are going to go through the season undefeated and as soon as we do drop the bundle you can expect several changes

Re: No change v Crows
Its hard to argue against no change. You do worry about them running out of legs after two intense games and on a road trip. But the team were magic in that second half last week and deserve a chance to see if they can recreate it.
The footy gods have delicious ironic timing sometimes.Henderson in for Sloane.
Re: No change v Crows
Savage out for Acres I think.
From memory Savage was subbed early two weeks ago with a leg. And subbed early with concussion last week.

Re: No change v Crows
It's Savage out for sure. He's been knocked around 2 weeks in a row, needs a rest.
Eli is an emergency nd tony made a random post about him today, so he will be the replacement.
It's all very cryptic

Surely Acres would be ahead of Templetonsaintspremiers wrote:It's Savage out for sure. He's been knocked around 2 weeks in a row, needs a rest.

Maybe a late change, never know

I agree 100% — want to see him in the team permanently.Hallalj#3 wrote:Bit different considering Mitchell was trying to get into a top 4 team and Acers hasn't really had the oppurtunity and by all reports doing everything he is being asked at VFL level. I just don't think he would be all that miffed 7 games into his second year. Players can get far worse treatment than that. Especially given that he has one of the longest term contracts at the club.
