Decent article by Daniel Cherny about our goal kicking options.

"St Kilda's dependence on Nick Riewoldt for goals in 2014 was almost beyond unhealthy. In their first year without the retired Stephen Milne - their fifth-highest goalkicker of all time - it was the skipper or bust. Riewoldt kicked 49 majors last season. That accounted for 23 per cent of their goals, the largest share one player had of their team's score last season. If they couldn't find someone soon to help a 32-year-old, it was a terminal "Roo-liance"...........................

Re: Overcoming Roo-liance
This forced period without Roo has allowed Bruce to truly blossom as our focal point. I am excited to see how he goes when Roo comes back into the team.
Not sure why Membrey is a worry though? He's played less than 10 games in his career in a position (mid sized forward) that is one of the most difficult to play. It's not a coincidence that there are barely a handful of high-scoring mid sized forwards in the comp.

Bruce has scored 17 out of 60 Saints goals this year at 28.3%.
Bruce has kicked at least 2 goals every game.
The Bruce was involved in 6 of the 11 goal scoring chains against Essendon. Membrey still involved in 2 chains.

The next two on the saints list of goalkickers is Lonie and Sinclair with 5 each.Foz wrote:re: Riewoldt kicked 49 majors last season. That accounted for 23 per cent of their goals, the largest share one player had of their team's score last season

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!
