He couldn't find the other thread. I've got no problem with there being a thread about Schneider here if people can discuss things in a civilised manner.

I don't care about the points tonight , it was a victory for the young saints a huge victory for development .

He is experienced enough and been through dozens of honest feedback sessions and Leading Teams scenarios, so let's call a spade a spade. If he was a young bloke you'd cut him some slack, but firstly he demands the footy off Membrey and he misses from dead in font, then he has a second chance (and ironically could have handballed it off to Membrey who was closer to goal with no-one on him) and Schneids fluffs it from 10 metres out

If you asked Schneider's team mates did he cost us the match or does he deserve to be dropped they'd probably say no because he wasn't the only one to miss a shot on goal and no one had an absolutely perfect game. Apart from the 2 misses Scneids played a serviceable game. If you ask the coaches they'd say no because Schneids has been working hard on the training track, he's putting himself in the right positions on game day, blah blah blah...but if you ask Schneider if he felt he cost us the match, I reckon he'd say he did.

Should his career be defined by his misses? I don't think so. Should we be concerned that he loses confidence or he can't continue to play good football or should we be concerned if he's dropped later in the year and maybe finishes his career with Sandy? I don't think so

True, but disappointing for them they didn't reap the reward. You don't want losing to become a habit, particularly in games you should have won.

His spot in the side, will depend on when other vets become available… youth we are not short on right now.

Should Schneider have handballed to Membrey= Yes
Is Schneider below what he used to be = Yes
Should he he still be up for selection = Yes (as his overal game was ok. But it could be a case of Joey or Schneider....)

Did Schneider lose us the game = No Or at least only as much as every other stuff up. ie Have a look at Geary near the wing at about the 14 minute mark of the last quarter. Marks the ball and so under no pressure...but yet panics....and delivers the ball BACKWARDS and POORLY to effectively set up the Dons next goal.

Dig Geary FU = Yes. Did Schneider FU = Yes. But both will only make way when there is a better option as both also have many good aspects to their games.

It's really poor form to start a thread in the FF with a title like you did last night. However angry or frustrated you were, that was really over the line.
