Is it not amazing that some folk can sit as quiet as church mice when those kids of ours need some SUPPORT. But then when an ex player ( who gave us good service ) gets the ball, suddenly find enough voice to boo that player. My opinion? No class in acting that way.

Yes, Goddard was a great player for us for a number of years BUT he left for $$$$$$. He was blinded by money and the prospect of winning a premiership and abandoned his teammates (when he would've been our next Captain). I doubt any St Kilda supporter will boo Dal Santo when we play North because, unlike Goddard, he didn't want to leave. Goddard did. That's why we boo. We don't forget what he did for us (hell, that's why it hurts so much), we are pissed that he left for money and showed absolutely no loyalty to the club that delivered him to three Grand Finals.

In my opinion, his "they'll make a movie about Essendon when we win the Premiership" comment alone deserves career-long booing.

Yep! He wasted the last 2 years of his career with a club which failed its due diligence in regards to drugs, not to mention the extra money.
