Geary has work to do to, 50% efficiency.

Sneids needs to kick goals to stay in the side. He was a better kick in the past. Speed of the game catching up with him?

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Gee are we doing the hard way? Are we behind the contest? Frees 13 to 6 Carlsum's way! Correction, 15 to 6 at half time.

Once again the umpiring is worse than appalling.

Terribly inconsistent.
How was than not holding the ball with the supposed new intrepretation?

Why have we had not one inside 50 free and they have had serveral.

We are by far the better team but are getting screwed.

Blues where always going to challenge at some stage. Good to see we soaked it up twice in that quart. Just have to come out firing in the third

Who knows but the umps like to give it to Carlton

Sinclair is a smooth operator loving his game. Longer playing well today a lot of good marks. What's going on with Delaney?
Bruce also today and last week intensaty has dropped off.

Schneider's kicking has certainly deteriorated. Both field and on goal.

Push in the backs have been a joke today with the umps but overall they're a 100 times better to crap I watched last night.

missed the first quarter and our best footy by the looks. hope we come out a lot harder and cleaner next half. Longer taking some grabs around the ground, and sinclair done some good things. but oh so scraggy - and yes i'll take that if it comes with a win!

Happened last night too. Melbourne were screwed by umps. They gave everything to Richmond and still they couldn't take advantage.
Last quarter they did their best to even up. Melbourne were first to the ball every time and got penalised. The frees Richmond got in front was a joke.
I hope for the same outcome today

Yep - watched it last night and felt the same. great win by Melbourne with no help at all from the filthy umpires

We'll have the last laugh in a few years. They have cost us a few games in the past few seasons. The beaten up for there lunch money bitter umpires don't realise we get better draft picks the lower we finish but. Then when we become flavour of the month again and they want to be seen as popular they will start looking after us on friday footy.

It is quite extraordinary how we just cop it but,it's like we expect it. A big club would take what is happening public

I really think it is a subconscious thing from the umpires. They must get it in their heads that its only Melbourne or only stkilda. it is too inconsistent. and really the afl should have paid them to make us win so this whole nz thing works lol

Frees 6-15. Says it all.

Some of our players are down on possession and need to lift.

I can't really fault the umps today bar a few odd inconsistent push in the back interpretations. Have not really noticed them.

Our boys just need to keep the pressure up.
