Re: Saints v Pies Match Thread
Strange night to have Wright as sub. I'd think this would be the perfect game for him, maybe give Roberton the vest.
Last week was our youngest team since Round 1 last year. This week is our youngest team in living memory.

Wright was very good as the sub last week however he won't get enough match fitness if he keeps playing as a sub.

As long as we compete hard and have a red hot go tonight I'll be happy.
Right now, I am never confident, which will hopefully change as we get better.
Go boys, just put the pressure on like you have and who knows.

Anyone out there remember Nick Riewoldt's debut? 2001, which round? Who was up there with him?

Re: Saints v Pies Match Thread
Geary rolled his ankle in warm up but apparently ok, without being 100%.

Schneids turned it over. Goal to Pies. He's picked up where he left off from last year.
