Lonie - beginning of something big here. So much skill.
Bruce - Aggressive at the ball. Great to have forward options other than Roo.
Membrey - Quicker than I thought he was, and like Bruce, I can see a future for him in the forward line.
Savage - Required player
Saad. Poor game. At least his last (4th) disposal was good. Bad that I can count them though.
Kicking skills were painful to watch. Some of the kids were better kicks than our more experienced players.
Umpiring.
Bruce - Aggressive at the ball. Great to have forward options other than Roo.

Membrey showed a bit - not sure how he will fit in though long term
Fought it out right to the end and almost stole it when it could have easily got away from us after half time
Savage and Steven showing some real dash and penetration
Having a run around on Etihad - the grass is very nice
Dislike
Still a fair bit of kick it to Rooey
Inability to lower the eyes and give forwards a good ball rather than the bombing it in
Quite a few players couldn't seem to get in the game - Saad, Templeton, Newnes, Dunstan. You can't have too many passengers out there
Better coordination needed with who goes in packs and who stays down - they spoiled each other quite a few times
We lost the midfield battle pretty comprehensively
That feels like a real missed opportunity. Although they were a bit wasteful in the first half, we were running all over them at the end but some crappy umpiring and poor fwd 50 entries blew it. That could have really taken the pressure off if we won.

Bruce's game. For some reason I keep thinking he's not a forward, but he does get the job done.
Jack Steven and Shane Savage.. fast, ball winners and kick goals
Crowd noise and involment. I had a pretty enjoyable game considering we lost and we're probably the wooden spooner this year.
Tackling and attitude. I reckon we're developing our own anti-social football.

Nice build-ups only to turn it over in the forward 50.
No Lee, White or McCartin. Would like to see one of these guys playing.
I want to see Holmesy get a chance. I reckon he will do at least as good as Longer, I'm no expert though.
I was surprised that so many are saying Dunstan had a poor game as I thought he looked quite good. His stats were definitely down though. Maybe the touches he got were quality?
