Re: Darcy Parish article
Well done Con for spotting this. If we happen to have as bad a year as most think, follow this young man this year as 95% sure we will get the elite mid we have been waiting for. Pleasure to watch him play. Sensational mover across the ground (reminds me of a left footed Keith Greig). Has very good speed, endurance, balance and sets up the play. Will probably play like Macrae in his first year of AFL as not much of him yet. I am not on my own as many others calling him out as future AFL star.

Thanks for the link.
Good stock down that way
We are progressively getting more an more connection with the Geelong Falcons.
Not exactly by design but it could be worse.

Funny, I knew you would like this kid being a good country lad. But he's not your typical tough country kid but rather pure silk. I reckon we will find Parish or Darcy Tucker in a Saints jumper come 2015 draft. Exactly what we need.Con Gorozidis wrote:Well you've gotta love a kid with a name from the 1920s who shears sheep.

Re: Darcy Parish article
Both look like good prospects. Tucker more physically mature and a lefty. Pelch would've loved him.Con Gorozidis wrote:http://www.mailtimes.com.au/story/28342 ... raft-pick/Old Mate wrote:Funny, I knew you would like this kid being a good country lad. Will the other guy last to 19 though because if they ever give compensation again, which I doubt, it wont be a pick one.

That isn't policy - just pure speculation on your part. It may be true but only time will tell. Until then I can dream.plugger66 wrote:BackFromUSA wrote:Apply for a draft compensation pick and get both???

If we finish motherless 18th this year AND next, I reckon we will get a PP of some descriptionBackFromUSA wrote:That isn't policy - just pure speculation on your part. Re: Darcy Parish article
If we win less then 4 games - they will have to seriously consider a PP. Just depends on how we go I guess. Number of blow-outs etc. General competitiveness.
The AFL must know that we will get worse when Roo retires.
