This is very very disappointing even if it is a practice match

You can kick it away after everyone else has stopped for a free and are eating for you to give it back - but what's killing me as much as anything is the commentary

Team rules Con I am really having doubts re our coaching/development staff. The players confidence is paper thin no resistence, no smart effort and playing dumb football. The worst Saints side I have seen since the 80's.

Where is Jack Newnes??????????

No point running PBs during pre-season if you can't find the ball.

Whilst some of the players are young I really worry about the pace of some of them. Acres is really slow and so are Curren, Dunstan, Weller. Now that is the real worry. At least Sinclair and Lonie look quick.

On a positive note, I guess we have pick #1 sewn up.

They brought back 20 premiership players tonight - that includes triple saluters. We are the bottom side, and without a lot of our better players, along with a raft of injuries. I'm with matrix, if we keep perspective we'll be alright.
I would rather this than a lot of players going around with big heads on the eve of the season, tbh.

Lonie, Sinclair and weller amongst some of the positives for me. The guys who spent year on rookie list probably need to go IMO - shenton takes a week to get rid of it every time

You've got to look for those little flashes of what's to come. Acres started looking like a quarter back. McCartin is a competitive beast. Lonnie shared a bit of genuine class. Hickey dangerous forward. Dunstan just keeps getting the tough footy. Hang on to these bits in the tough times

Gotta take it for what it is...but I hate losing.

Good on you Bluthy. Obviously it is awful to watch, but hardly unexpected and some flashes of positives.

And great effort just then from Pierce. As an example.

I wish Felix.
Was always going go be one sided
Don't expect much for the next couple of years so a good giggle is always worth it.

Ya gotta laugh.
Injuries are not good tho
That's certainly not giggle worthy at all.
