Two sides out there umps!
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Re: Saints v Hawthorn
Not good. Hawthorn too quick too much space. Best dunstan Steven newness Delaney. Acres getting but poor disposal. Sinclair a couple of touches. Paddy working hard but can't get his dukes on it. As we suspected getting smashed at clearances

Didn't like seeing Acres get burnt for speed. Didn't Richo say he has the best athletic profile at the club?

Embarrassing, is a VFL side playing a professional AFL outfit. No confidence no skillis and for me huge ??? re development. Yes Hawthorn are good but it is going to be a very long year as we are terrible !
SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!

Re: Saints v Hawthorn
Same issues emerging.
Over use panic and plain poor disposal in the back half leading to poor turnover goals.
Zero composure when kicking inside 50. We just kick to a pack situation every time.

Exactly. It should be a 200 point win if they keep playing properly.gringo wrote:WinnersOnly wrote:Embarrassing, is a VFL side playing a professional AFL outfit. You really do lose it easily and worst of all you change your mind weekly if not daily. That's the problem when people overate sides. I reckon we are going exactly as expected.

Re: Saints v Hawthorn
Why do we always get clear and then stop and handball backwards to someone in a worse position.

Chin up ..what did we really expect, a close game ?.? Of course we will be blown away.

My guess is because there is nothing up ahead. That's why AFL on TV just never does it like being at the ground.

Re: Saints v Hawthorn

We arent going to flick some switch.
There is no switch.
