Adelaide Game

Post: # 1534055Post pkerr51 »

Hi,

Have purchased my air tickets for the Adelaide Game. Never done an interstate. Just wondering where people stay, sit etc.

Really looking forward to it

Any help or advice( even to a forum I cant find) appreciated.

I heard there is a FB travel group, but can't find it

Cheers,

Paul

Like staying in Glenelg when I'm in Adelaide, you can get a coffee and a meal that isn't too bad. It's like St Kilda plenty happening. There are closer areas to the ground though but transports pretty good there too.

I can't really help, however it should now be much better being at Adelaide oval. I Hope we win for you as there's nothing better than beating them at home and being there. Good luck

Yes, the revamped Adelaide Oval is fantastic.

Glenelg is a great place on the beach, plenty of restaurants, bars, etc, and about a 25-30 min tram ride into town.

If you want to be closer, anything along North Terrace is only a couple of minutes walk from the oval.

Hope the Saints do the right thing by you and win.

I was there in 2005 ( AAMI stadium, not Adelaide Oval) when we beat Adelaide in the qualifier, and it doesn't get much better than winning interstate, except last Saturday in September at the G.

if you can find a room i'd recommend north adelaide - great pubs and cafes, beautiful old area, and a short walk to the ground.

Yeah I remember that night, grown men were hugging and we celebrated for what seemed like hours

Yes, walking distance to the Adelaide oval. I stayed at "Meridien Hotel & Apartments" in Melbourne St last year. ( not for football).
Reasonably priced.

Adelaide is actually not a bad city to visit, no traffic, chilled people and nice environment.

couldnt believe it bunk
http://s.afl.com.au/staticfile/AFL%20Te ... 20Form.pdf

i thought i'd better nominate our free tickets for one of the sa games
picked port game and will buy tickets for the crows game
thought might take someone along to the port game
fmd not for that price

in fact if im reading that correctlyu it says my tickets will be 65 as well for the second match
"f you would like to purchase a ticket for the 2nd game or purchase guest tickets to these matches,"
