Gee Paddy's already suprising me with his versatility - Paddy pushing up to the half back line and then doing a brilliant penetrating kick was a bit Pagans paddock. Eli showing good energy. Mav doing well. After so many changes our backline is starting to gel and keeping us in it. Dempster has been brilliant. Brissy's midfield is looking like it will be rolled gold in a couple of years so they are cuting us up there. Lee in the ruck may be competing with Bruce for the Fwd/ruck spot - both worked hard without doing a lot of damage. Newnes working his butt off, Ross too - they look like they could cement a spot in the midfield at this rate. Longer started get back into in the ruck using his physicality more. We look good on the break but need to start to winning it in the centre or else we're expending a lot of energy chasing.

I'm enjoying this, plenty of positives

I'm with you SainterK, I'm looking at the positives for the long term rather than dwell on the negatives. Too many years spent doing that in the past, we need something to get excited about & some of these young kids are showing glimpses of having some real talent which should become more consistent once they become used to the quicker pace.
