cathreevy; Walked in the kitchen after a rest to a home cooked meal on the table with the baby sleeping and kitchen cleaned , My husband is like super mom and super dad all in one.

It helps build up immunity which may help longer term.......certainly can't do any harm unless the mother is a junkie or alco, which I highly doubt fits Mrs Roo's persona.

Didn't say it was do harm but you were the one who said you hoped he is still being breat feed. I will go out on a limb and say by the time the kid is 10 it will not have helped or hurt even slightly.

Breast is best, p66. My ex missus, the midwife, breast feeding nazi, will slap you for suggesting any different. In defence of her, there is a lot of solid evidence that suggests breast feeding has significant long term benefits for individuals, from enhanced immune systems to elevated levels of IQ.
