What it does do is highlight the randomness and fickleness of AFL footy and injuries, and why some were a bit silly to work themselves into a lather pre-draft about our own selections’s known medical issues.

You never know. - if he does it a couple more times in his career is that just bad luck or is he prone to doing his knee.
Time will tell , but it's better him than mc cartin that's for sure.

C'mon P66, I am sure Paddy McCartin would be thinking, wow thank god no 1 v 2 discussion this year when he first heard about Petracca.

All footballers concentrate on this sort of stuff and not training. Don't you know that?

It does take off some external pressure off Paddy from a supporter point of view, as many (including myself) will naturally compare the 2 as we were closely linked with CP for so long (rightly or wrongly)
Doubt it would worry Paddy and he would be devastated for CP as it would hit home how quickly your dream can become a nightmare.

If it is revealed he has chronically weak ACL's or more predisposed to them and they only can pick up on this after the fact, then maybe we did dodge a bullet, however, I doubt this is the case!
